Calorie Calculators by Demographic

Find calorie and macro pages organized by sex, age group, and daily activity level.

Demographic context changes the calorie target you should start from. A 25-year-old man training six days a week is working with a different baseline than a 55-year-old woman with a desk job, even before food preferences, schedule, and body size enter the picture. Formulas can estimate maintenance calories from age, sex, height, weight, and activity level, but they cannot describe how that result usually plays out in a real routine.

These pages use the formula result as a starting point, then add context around common body sizes, lifestyle patterns, tracking mistakes, and protein targets for each profile. Each child page includes three reference body sizes, examples of everyday patterns that affect intake, common pitfalls to watch for, protein guidance, a pre-configured calculator, and FAQs written for that demographic.

Choose your demographic

Start with sex and age group, then choose the activity level that best matches a normal week.

What each profile page includes

Click through when you want a page closer to your situation than a generic calorie chart. Each profile shows reference body sizes with maintenance calorie estimates, lifestyle patterns common to that demographic, pitfalls that can distort tracking, and protein guidance for the listed body sizes. The calculator on each page is already set to the matching sex and activity level, so you can replace the reference numbers with your own height, weight, and age without starting from a blank form.
